| The lines of a forty year old workhorse slash a path through the woods of south Alabama. The old SD40 doesn't know how to quit and is still around getting the head end position of CSX Q519. The suspension squeaks with every bounce along the rails, and the engineer throttle modulates through every notch on the old 645. Soon they'll reach the destination of Mobile, Alabama, and call it quits on the 519. The next day 8830 would head north on 518. Proving yet again that the 40 never gets old. |
