With more clouds moving in on the afternoon of June 20, 2020, a fortuitous splash of sunlight lights up the head end of a westbound BNSF coal empty rolling through Wendover Canyon west of Wendover, Wyoming. This scenic canyon made by the North Platte River is on BNSF’s aptly-named Canyon Subdivision.
