| Milwaukee Road SD10 547 at Bensenville Yard in Chicago October 1983. The 547 was built as SD7 2207 in June 1952 and was renumbered to 507 in 1959. This SD7 was rebuilt in November 1974 and emerged as "SD10" 547. When the Milwaukee Road was purchased by the Soo Line in 1985 this unit was assigned the road number 6106 but it never actually wore this number. The 547 was sold to DME in September 1986 and wrecked in December 1996. James Claflin Photo from my Collection. |
