Weed, Montana.... The small mining, agricultural and mining hamlet of weed sits in a secluded corner of Mullan Pass near Iron Ridge. These buildings have seen the passage of Steam to Diesel .... Among the many other changes our society has seen in 100+ years. They are in exceptional condition considering the age and harsh environment they sit. They likely date to the the very early 1900, possibly even older. It appears they were likely still inhabited until the 1960's when they were finally left to Mother Nature. Trains still blow for the crossing that was once the main road into town....
