The Marylanders. The MARC fleet seems to keep finding its way to variety in both manufacturers and type. on Sunday, July 5, 2020, 80 (Siemens SC-44), 31 (MPI, MP36PH-3C) and 4145 (GP40PH-2). But unique to the fleet is the return to the "Old Line State" fleet, 4145 was rebuilt while being owned by New Jersey Transit, but began life as Baltimore and Ohio Railroad 4032 (GP40) in 1971. It was received by MARC in return for a lease of passenger coaches. They all sit in Riverside Yard in Baltimore, Maryland awaiting the next day's call to service.
