Some really cool power sits quietly in the backlot of EMD's plant in La Grange, IL. At the front is CP 6061, an SD40-2 that was built in 1984. Next up is EMDX 92, which is dubbed as an SD89MAC, built in 2000. 1998-built EMDX SD90MAC-H #90 follows and then the star of the show, in my opinion, is EMD #3. Built new at this very location in 1984, I believe it's the last SD60 to wear the EMD demonstrator paint, as the rest of them were bought by CN in previous years. The future is unclear for these units, but they appear to be in rather nice condition.
