| The train facilities for the Georgetown Loop Railroad are located in Silver Plume. The 40 minute, 4.7 mile journey sees the train climb through dense trees 640 vertical feet to Silver Plume. Here we see GLRX 40 (2-8-0) get a drink of water from the tower at Silver Plume before heading back down to Georgetown.
