The promise kept. The proverbial and actual rainbow after the storm appeared at Port Jervis, NY at the former Erie searchlights at 87-2 as New York, Susquehanna, and Western Railway SU99 passed on the afternoon of Friday, August 17, 2018. After a washout on its Southern Tier Line the previous week, this was the first day that the NYS&W was able to run its northbound/westbound SU99 road train from its shortened terminal in Rochelle Park, NJ to Binghamton, NY. The unusual searchlights have since been removed.
For the train and storm chaser. Trains with thunderstorms, dark clouds, rain, lightning, hurricanes - tropical storms, funnel clouds, storm light, rainbows, and snow storms.
