| Remarks & Notes |
| For the California Zephyr trains that have been diverting from Colorado to Wyoming due to massive wildfires, the engine configuration has been back-to-back, giving a good visual of the design of the blue wave graphic along the top. Typically the Zephyr running through Colorado runs in an 'elephant' configuration, meaning both engines are facing forward. |
