CSX 5478 makes a west coast appearance as it leads a hot Stockton, CA to Willow Springs, IL Z-train through the S-curve of Hackberry. In the background, the head-end of the Q STOCHI6 can be seen stopped at Hackberry Rd. where that crew, and the Z STOWSP7 crew, swapped trains. This practice is done when one crew is short on time. The crew off of the Q STOCHI (6 hours on duty) swapped with the Z train crew (3.5 hours on duty) in ordered for everyone to arrive into Winslow within their hours of service.
