| Eastbound Wilmar to KC freight train is about a mile into the state of Missouri. The train has just left Nebraska as they crossed the Missouri River at Rulo on the St. Joe Sub. Now the train will roll across the Missouri River plateau as they work to the other side of the river valley where they make the last 100 miles towards KC on the Missouri side of the river. The area around Big Lake has been completely ravaged by historic flooding that went on in places well over 100 days in 2019. |
