| Funny how time changes perspectives. At the time I was pretty mad that UP decided to start using their own power on these coal trains from Wellington starting the week I had flown out there to shoot the Utah Railway and I still am a little bitter! However we did luck out with the swing helpers getting a nearly solid Utah red & grey set, something that may never be repeated again with G&W dispersing part of the Utah fleet across its system. Looking back it was still a great time chasing this coal train across the legendary Soldier Summit route. |
