I was watching the weather and seen maybe there was a chance drop under light might happened on our trip home. We chased this eastbound Rapids City to Huron train from Van Meter to east of Wendte before the sun finally came out. The last couple minutes of the day light up this PRC slow poke. Here the train works east at a snail pace over the always beatup PRC Sub between JC Siding on Fort Pierre.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
