Remarks & Notes 
Sunderland to Kings cross train heads south through Seaham Harbour. It is hard to believe that the area behind the train was a coal mine 30 years ago with many sidings coming to a junction at this spot. The pollution was so bad that the beach below the cliffs was used for a planet in the film Alien 3.
