The boys and I made a trip up to Mason City area on my days off. On the way home we chase an eastbound grain train out of Mason on the CP Mason City Sub. This 100 car train was loaded at Delevan, MN, and is bound for Clinton, IA. I didn't even know they built a shuttle loader on the Jackson Sub!!!! The weather crapped out but on the way home I made sure to shoot the depot at Charles City. I lost a depot around me this year and didn't even know it was coming down! They are looking for funds to save this depot, so who know what will happen to it. This 3x1 grain train is about make a run for the Double Day Hill out of Charles City.
