With the blades on the nose adjusted to push snow all to one side, Southern Pacific spreader MW 4034 cleans wet snow off Main 2 on double track at Soda Springs, California, on March 10, 2000. Powering the train are SP EMD GP38-2 Nos. 4841 and 4812.
