Remarks & Notes
Reading Company RS-3 467, built by the American Locomotive Company in May 1952, was sold to the Peabody Coal Company. It was later purchased and restored by the Reading Historical Society. This engine is stored at the Steamtown National Historic Site, and is often displayed with freight cars of the same era, as seen here on a crisp early autumn morning. In the background is power belonging to the Delaware-Lackawanna Railroad, with DL C-425 2461 (ex-DL 811, ex-BCOL 811, originally EL 2461) coupled to three other ALCOs.
