This photo brought to you by the letter S. On Sunday, May 6, 2018, the West Chester Railroad operated a photo freight/charter for a group of paid attendees. The last shot of the day of WCRL 1803 (MLW RS18u, neé CP 8762, MLW RS18, 4/1958) on the move was as it entered the West Chester's yard. The dark day allows for a clear reflection of the engine's headlights off the the rails on the sharp "S" curve. The West Chester Railroad itself does not carry any freight, and is presently not connected to any other railroad. SEPTA is presently rebuilding the rails to Wawa on the Elwyn Line (former R3), just under 5 miles away from Glen Mills.
