| Never know what a person may see while trackside. Northshore Mining has received 5 new to them ex- CSX EMD SD70ACe's for moving taconite rock from their mine at Babbitt, MN down to their plant at Silver Bay, MN but on this day comes NSM 1216 and based on the rhythm as they went by it was heading inland to the shop at Babbitt for wheel work. Built in 1962 the 1216 is ex-BNSF 3531 < BN 183, ex NP 124. |
