The train begins its journey onto the Browns Valley Sub, a branchline that goes (ironically) not to Browns Valley, but to Beardsley, MN. Just short of Browns Valley, and the part from Morris to Alberta is the most used part of the line. In the foreground, an accident memorial is seen off the highway.
