Remarks & Notes

After switching the Nestle Chocolate plant in Burlington, L504 hustles north across Echo Lake with the EJ&E 703 in charge. For years, the 703 has stood as the only EJ&E GP38-2 remaining and one of only three "J-Ball" locomotives left in existence, although one is working for the Hartwell Railroad in Georgia (#654).
