Remarks & Notes
In a view highlighting the through truss center span over the Hudson River shipping channel, CSX EB Q424 has just left Selkirk Yard for Springfield, MA as it passes WB empty autorack train Q205 which is waiting to enter Selkirk Yard. The B&A trains are meeting on the 5,255 ft Alfred H. Smith Memorial Bridge which was completed in 1924 as part of New York Central's Castleton Cut-off Project. The Helderberg Escarpment can be seen in the background.
