Remarks & Notes

RCPE 3456 and 3434 trundle west from Huron, SD at about 10 mph with a long string of covered hoppers en route to Pierre and eventually Rapid City. The train will meet up with a BNSF train at Wolsey, not far west from Huron where BNSF runs north-south on a former MILW line from Aberdeen to Sioux City, IA. RCPE 3456 began life as MKT 634 in September 1981. RCPE 3434 was UP 3623 built in November 1979.
