| Before the days of PSR on CSX, one could see loads of aggregate such as sand moving on entire unit trains. The rolling stock was railroad owned and some cars even retained fallen flag paint schemes such as Chessie System seen here. But today this traffic now moves on regular manifest trains inside leaser freight cars which are painted in plain generic paint schemes. My how the things changed in a few short years after this photo was taken. |
