Open air. The renovation of Denver's Union Station was a key part of restoring vibrancy to the downtown area of Denver, Colorado known as "LoDo". Completed in 1914, it was reopened in 2014 with a new hotel, retailers, and restaurants. On the evening of July 29, 2020, Webb Rail's former New York Central Railroad Budd built Pullman obs/diner/sleeper "Babbling Brook" (WEBX 800007) and former Northern Pacific Railway Budd built Pullman dome/sleeper 313 (WEBX 801044) are coupled up to Amtrak Train 6 (California Zephyr) and getting ready to continue on to Chicago, Illinois. The open air train hall permits a view of both the train and the station.
