Under somewhat hazy conditions for this time of year, a cog railway diesel train heads back down the side of Mount Washington on an otherwise clear and cool Fall afternoon. The winds on top were approaching the 100mph mark, but quickly diminishing as the afternoon wore on, and there were still a few remnants of the first snowfall of the season, which had dropped a couple inches on the summit the night before.
