Remarks & Notes
AMTK No. 669 leads "The Silver Meteor" southbound through the Bridesburg section of Philadelphia, along the Northeast Corridor. The Silver Meteor runs between New York City and Miami, FL. It was the flagship train of the Seaboard Air Line Railroad as well as one of flagship trains of its successor, the Seaboard Coast Line. It was handed to Amtrak when it took over intercity rail service in 1971.
