Freeport-McMoRan EMD GP38 No. 49, along with three sister GP38/GP38-2 locomotives, sits amid some mining structures at the massive facility at Morenci, Arizona, on October 23, 2020. Later that morning, the locomotives will head down to the Arizona Eastern Railway’s yard in Clifton to pick up some interchange cars and head back up the steep grade to Morenci.
