Remarks & Notes
Another kind of Erie Freight. With Met Life Stadium in the background, Morristown & Erie Railway 20 (SW1500) leads the New York and Greenwood Lake Railroad salvage train over former Erie Railroad HX Bridge towards Secaucus, NJ on Thursday, October 15, 2020. This bridge once saw fairly frequent freight from the Erie, Erie Lackawanna, and Conrail, and still sees a few moves a day from current non-passenger steward Norfolk Southern. The rails and ties being removed from the former Erie Dundee Spur are being brought to the M&E in Morristown, New Jersey.
