Remarks & Notes
An eastbound Amtrak Keystone plies through Kinzers, PA, bound for "the big city" on a beautiful Fall day. Going way back - I've always liked windmills (as evident in my profile photo), and I was very happy to finally capture a train with this one, located in Kinzers, PA. Naturally, Amtrak would send only cab led eastbound trains, but, the yellow and black striped cars, like no other, intrinsically say "Keystone Corridor" so it is quite fitting.

The overhead catenary was rehabilitated in 2006 on November 1st, of that same year, the western section of the Keystone Corridor spanning from Lancaster to Parkesburg was upgraded with segments now rated for 110 mile per hour operation. An interesting juxtaposition, high speed trains racing through the bucolic farmlands of the Amish.
