Three years ago today. Amtrak 156 (P42DC) drew the lucky assignment of leading day two of the 18th Annual Capital Region Toys for Tots train on Sunday, Decemeber 3, 2017. During the first stop in Saratoga Springs, New York, a ceremony was held to kick off a day of giving and sharing gifts and spirit with the children of the route of the Delaware & Hudson from Fort Edward to Rouses Point, New York.
