With about an hour left until sundown, BNSFs "Lockport Local" begins its work switching out the Grief Packaging Company in downtown Lockport. Running long hood forward, former Santa Fe GP50 #3178, sporting a fresh H4 paint scheme, pulls out of the spur after picking up the empties and attaching them to the loads. After its work in Lockport is complete, the train will head back south and switch more industries a few miles outside of Joliet before calling quits in the late hours of the evening.
