IANR 4001 leads the "South Job" northbound past the Vinton depot, on its way to Waterloo, Iowa.
Called by many names, this is the old Burlington, Cedar Rapids and Northern Railway depot in Vinton, Iowa. It was built in 1900, just three years before BCR&N was acquired by the Rock Island. Now, this section of the line is owned and operated by Iowa Northern, and the depot is known as the "Vinton Railroad Depot & Museum."
