Snow blowing action in the gorge of the Furkareuss near Realp on the line of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke. The steam rotary snow blower R # 12, built in 1913 by the SLM for the Rhaetian Railway (main network), shoved by the cogwheel steamlocomotive HG 3/4 # 4 of the DFB, is in full action on the very first day after about 60 years out of service. A team of about 10 people with Martin Horath worked during 18 years for this beautiful day. The first test runs were a full success and all present were brightly enthusiastic.
