"Resting at the Mill"
Waco Feeds Mill (now Pilgrim's Pride) EMD NW2R #95 peacefully rests on one of the Mill's stub tracks on a cloudy morning in Waco, Georgia. 95 was built in 1949 as a NW2 for the Southern Pacific then sold and rebuilt as "Cargill 1" to serve at the Cargill Nutrena Feeds plant. The unit was later sold to Gold Kist and sent to Waco, Georgia. After several company changes, the plant now uses a Trackmobile to switch its cars leaving the 95 sitting, awaiting an uncertain future.
