| 1099 007 turns out of Erlaufklausetunnel as the driver pulls notch by notch on the first major grade heading back to St. Pölten. The name for the train 'Ötscherbär' was found by ÖBB back in 2007 when three engines, eleven passenger coaches and two bike-transport cars were painted brown - as 'Bär' means Bear in German. An additional open car was put into service in recent years. It runs on weekends as charter for tourists. |
