| Remember those S curves I mentioned? Here, NS 55W rounds the bend at Cox's Cutoff heading west about 20 minutes out of finally arriving to Bluefield. If you look carefully you can see the trailing hopper cars to the right of leading unit #8130. At this location I noticed how the snow had perfectly covered every branch and limb of the trees, a Christmas card scene! |
