Milwaukee Road, Soo Line and Helm Leasing locomotives sit alongside the enginehouse at Soo Line’s Bensenville Yard locomotive facility, along Green Street in Bensenville, Illinois, on September 13, 1987. Behind Milwaukee Road EMD SD40-2 No. 174 is Soo Line No. 6361 in ‘bandit’ colors, a former Milwaukee unit in the road’s final paint scheme. Patched Milwaukee power on the Soo was not particularly attractive or well done, as readily seen on No. 6361.
