Westbound stacker from Logistics Park, IL, to Pearland, TX, struggles up the grade into New Boston. The train is working west towards KC on the Marceline Sub. The train passes under a skeleton signal bridge, retired in late 2019 from the old Santa Fe days. The BNSF Transcon Main skirts thru the far southern tip of Iowa for about 20 miles west of Fort Madison. Loving the frost from all the fog the past 3 days.
The signal bridge in the background wasn't long for 2021, as it was torn down sometime in the 2nd week of January.
