CN 3115 leads E251 westbound into Haslett.
While playing games with a friend after school, he notified me about 3115's status in Pontiac. I opened Google Maps and scouted for a potential picture location. My immediate thought was getting the train passing the depot in Gaines however, that plan flopped. After I was on the road passing under M-57, I was notified that it had left Pontiac, meaning I wouldn't have time to get to Gaines. Since I really didn't have a spot figured out, I asked for a suggestion and he came through with a picture. The picture shown had a white picket fence that I could incorporate into the image. Once I got here, the fence was gone. Only a post remained. Since that ruined the initial idea once more. I concluded that I would just capture a wide angle of the specially painted unit. The trip considered, I'm most definitely satisfied with how it turned out!
