The RhB ordered fifteen ABe 8/12 "Allegra" from Stadler Rail. The trains can be used on the entire RhB network, including the Bernina Railway. As two-system trains, they run at 11kV AC, 16.7 Hz and 1 kV DC. The 3502 train made RhB history. On December 20, 2010, on the occasion of the farewell to the director of the RhB, it was traveling with 145 km / h in the 19,042 m long Vereina-Tunnel. This is considered to be the speed record on RhB tracks.
