Parked on a spur at the Santa Fe station in Amarillo, and connected to a steam line; is Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe business car 57. Built by Pullman in 1924, this 73'6"-long car was originally numbered ATSF 35. This heavyweight car is painted with "shadow stripes" to replicate streamlined cars’ stainless steel corrugations, and includes a Pyle Gyralight as its marker light. This car is assigned to the railway’s General Manager (Jim Fitzgerald in 1973) of their Gulf Lines. (Amarillo, Texas – March 4, 1973)
