Stradling the boundary between two cities, BNSF Railway train Z-LACNYC9-28 parallels Crowther Avenue, the eastbound lanes of which are in Anaheim while the westbound lanes are in Placentia, effectively meaning I was photographing a train in a different city than the one in which I was standing. (You’ve got to love southern California, where city limits are sometimes difficult to discern.). BNSF ES44C4 8091 is leading four other locomotives (Dash 9-44CW 5037, Dash 9-44CW 5166, ES44DC 7582 and Dash 9-44CW 5501) as the train heads from Los Angeles to New York.
