My father and I took many day trips to Binghamton in the 1980s hoping for Alcos on the D&H. President's Day in 1983 was one of our luckiest trips as we caught WR-7 with C420 408 - C424m 453 - C424m 455. Here WR-7 waits for the passing of a Conrail westbound on the Southern Tier before climbing Belden Hill. The Conrail train was led by 5 locomotives including four different models, GP35 3640 - GP40-2 3278 - GP30 2182 - GP38 8117 - GP40-2 3311. This is my Dad's shot. R.T. Steinbrenner Photo
