Remarks & Notes
A Reading Company survivor in.... Trenton, NJ!

Yes, you read correctly - not "West Trenton", not Ewing, NJ, but right in downtown Trenton. NJ. Back in 1877, the Reading Company built its "Trenton Branch' originating from a wye along its Philadelphia, PA to Jersey City main at West Trenton. While the stub end passenger station at Warren Street is sadly long gone, this 1888 built Philadelphia and Reading Railroad freight station survives, albeit, as the City of Trenton's "Reading Senior Citizen Center". The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 14, 1979.

The monument in white seen in the background, not attached, is the Trenton Battle Monument which commemorates the American victory at the first battle of Trenton, NJ, which occurred on December 26, 1776.
