CP's Saratoga Springs, NY to Albany, NY turn job, D45, typically departs Saratoga in the wee hours of the morning and returns north from Albany in the very early morning hours. Therefore, daytime photo opportunities of this train are minimal at best. However, on February 11, 2021, D45 did not run, and instead a D43 was called and ran during the day, making for many photo opportunities. One of these was here at CPF470 at Coons in Halfmoon, NY as the train headed back north for Saratoga in nice, late afternoon light.
