Reading Company's Quakertown Train Station & Freight House
Constructed, both, in 1902 by the Philadelphia and Reading Railroad Company, the station served passengers for more than 80 years while the freight house once served as temporary storage for livestock, building materials and other goods in the early 1900s as the trains interchanged freight between Philadelphia, Bethlehem and Reading. Both buildings were added to the National Register of Historic Places in April 2000.
