A pair of Canadian Pacific "Flag Unit" SD40-2/DRF-30t engines (5936/6028) passes the former "XO" tower in Mechanicville, New York on the afternoon of Sunday, March 17, 2019. They brought a train loaded with continuously welded rail from Canada destined for CP Colonie Yard in Watervliet, New York. This tower is a restored historic site once controlling the crossing of the Delaware and Hudson and Boston and Maine Railroads at this location, and is not active.
