| CN finally found some people and power today to run an extra plow job out of Waterloo. The crew is working drifts on the Dubuque Sub to Manchester and the Cedar Rapids Sub to Cedar Rapids. The drifting isn't terrible, but it was time to push some of the big stuff back. Unfortunately sunset came only 5 miles south on the CR branch and the L567 at Cedar Rapids was on duty. The crew was instructed to be into CR by 8:30pm for the local, so they were only hitting absolutely necessary stuff now. Here they make a 2nd pass at the cut around MP 5 north of Ryan. Weren't too many 2nd passes today, but this would be one. |
