I am feeling pretty lucky today. In 2004 The Salt Lake Cities Chevron refinery, got a couple pretty cool GP's. The problem is these GP's spend pretty much all there time in the secured facility, and are not accessible to the general public. To my surprise today, I stumble upon GP10 RSSX 436 out farther than I ever seen it. I hopped out of my car, and was snapping some telephoto shots of it. When it pulled forward to where I was standing. The engineer then game me a wonderful rendition of shave and a haircut on his horn. Before he began to back, back into the refinery. I was filling pretty lucky. RSSX 436 began it's life as Illinois Central GP9 9036 in 1954. It was rebuilt into a GP10 in 1969, as Illinois Central Gulf 8036. History is from Don Strack.
